OpenShot for MAC
Free, open-source video editor for Mac: unlimited tracks, transitions, titles, keyframe animation and effects, easy to learn.
OpenShot Overview
OpenShot is an award-winning free video editor that is easy to use and quick to learn, yet surprisingly powerful. Drag your videos, music and images onto the timeline, then trim, cut, resize, rotate and snap clips into place on unlimited tracks. Add transitions with real-time previews, titles from templates, 3D animated titles, watermarks and image overlays, and animate almost anything with curve-based keyframes. It supports many video, audio and image formats through FFmpeg.
OpenShot also offers time-mapping and speed changes, frame-by-frame stepping, scrolling credits and 2D animation from image sequences. Version 4.0 brought an upgraded Razor tool with ripple cuts, a smoother timeline and faster colour and keyframe editing, and 4.0.1 fixed macOS start-up problems on Macs without Homebrew. OpenShot is made by OpenShot Studios and is free and open source under the GPL-3.0 license. The Mac download is built for Intel and runs on Apple Silicon Macs through Rosetta 2.
